Privacy Policy
DejaVue helps you rediscover memories while keeping your photo library private. This policy explains what data is processed, what is not collected, and how you control access.
1. On-device processing
DejaVue processes your photo library on your iPhone or iPad to power natural language search, similarity search, and duplicate detection. Core memory search does not require cloud upload of your photo content.
2. App Store Privacy Details alignment
Our disclosures in App Store Connect are intended to stay accurate and up to date for each released app version, including applicable third-party partner and SDK behavior. If our data practices change, we will update App Store privacy responses and this page.
3. What we do not collect for core search
- We do not upload your photo library for search processing.
- We do not sell your personal photo data.
- We do not build ad profiles from your private memories.
4. Data we may receive
We may process limited, non-photo operational data such as crash diagnostics and app performance metrics to improve reliability and product quality. We treat this as operational data, not memory search content.
5. Third-party partners and SDKs
If we use third-party services (for example, diagnostics or infrastructure providers), our policy and App Store privacy disclosures are intended to include relevant data handling by integrated partner code.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Subscription and payment processing are handled by Apple through the App Store. DejaVue does not directly process payment card information.
7. Permissions, consent, and control
You control photo permissions through iOS Settings at any time. If access is revoked, DejaVue can no longer analyze or search your library.
8. Retention and deletion
For core search features, your photos stay in your Apple Photos library and analysis remains on device. If you want to remove DejaVue's local derived data, delete the app or clear app data in-app where available. For direct support communications, you can request deletion by contacting us.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as DejaVue evolves. The current version date is shown at the top of this page.
